Hello World,
As the month of January comes crawling to a merciful end, signs of spring, although very faint give a reason for hope and optimism that "GREEN" is just around the corner. Listening to the chickadees in the morning and watching how playful and active they still are in the sub freezing temperatures is enough to give the biggest winter wimp a mountain of hope. Not that I am a winter wimp but after the new year I certainly do look forward to spring and everything that comes along with it. Yesterday as I was driving home to my own home in Arrowhead Lakes I drove by what initially looked like a small turkey but I knew it wasn't. I stopped my truck and slowly backed up and there it was, a magnificent hawk with a wing span of nearly three feet slowly flapping as it slowly took flight. These everyday occurences are there for our appreciation everyday. All we need to remember is to "SLOW DOWN" and enjoy it!
A lot of us find ourselves spending our days worrying about this and that and find ourselves consumed with the ongoing chatter in our minds when in reality all we ever really have is "Today". With that in mind if you never considered a second home as a well placed investment where family memories could forever be accumulated then I think now is that time and Arrowhead Lakes is that place. Go over what you ordinarily spend in a year to keep the family entertained between, movies, video games, shows, music etc.....then think of all of the endless possibilities to connect with nature in a way most folks simply dream about.
