Hello Fellow Pocono Enthusiasts!! Labor Day Weekend 2008 is now behind us and boy was it a bustling weekend. Area communities such as Arrowhead Lakes, Towamensing Trails, Brier Crest Woods and others were filled with residents and guests celebrating the end of the summer season for 2008. Gorgeous weekend weather drew nice crowds out on the lakes and into the pools and the cold beverages were flowing accordingly! Nature hikes were in line with daily activities as were bonfires and music. Just a great time was had by all. Although the end of the summer makes a lot of folks sad, here in the Pocono Mountains the excitement turns to Autumn and the "Leaf Peepers" begin to scope out the Mountainside for the Colorful Changes that make this part of the country a Majestic Masterpiece! If you are looking for a second home as a place to invest your dollars, then the Poconos should be your choice. 4 Seasons of Fun and Enjoyment where Nature Really Comes Alive! With Autumn Comes the hungry Black Bear who need to fill their gully for a long winters nap so don't leave food out at all! They are simply majestic creatures and a lot of fun to watch in the wild but make no mistake a black bear will go through anything for a bite to eat. Tune in often to this blog as my goal is to start updating this Blog weekly with 'community profiles' .
