Last year it was a major snow storm the week before Halloween. This year, Two Weeks Before Halloween!!Pretty soon we'll be welcoming Old Man Winter on Labor Day Weekend I guess! Once the chill is in the air in the Poconos, the snow is right behind it especially for the stretch of towns along the Route 940 Corridor of The Poconos. This is the notorious Snow Belt Region where you can expect to see snow of some level EVERY day in the winter! The only odd thing about this snow storm is that it took place on the 15th and 16th of October. You know today, the 17th is supposed to be PEEK FOLIAGE in Monroe County for Fall Color??????Only problem is that the color is now WHITE!

Looks like a very nice winter wonderland. We're supposed to get our first cold front tonight. Highs should only be in the 70's tomorrow.
The photos are so pretty. I do not see much snow living in the south. Thanks for sharing these.
Hi Rick, Good post. Thanks for sharing.

That's the first snowfall? That's too much. Even looking at the pictures now has be shivering, even though the thermometer here says 73°.
