Home seekers in the Pocono Mountains would all love to own a lakefront home! This is the prized possession of Home seekers here! The problem, even in this market, is INVENTORY. Out of the 4,048 home currently on the market in the Pocono Mountain Multiple Listing Service only 101 of them are considered "Lakefront" homes. Now at a closer look you can probably weed that list down to about 85 -90 'True Lakefronts'. Remember the information is only as accurate as the listing agent putting it in and their job is to sell their sellers house. Homes can be on a little inlet with complete lake access and therefore be placed in the 'lakefront' category when there is no chance at all of getting that beautiful huge water view that most lakefront homebuyers are looking for.
